Spanish researchers claim.... eating sausage that contains bacteria from baby poo could be a way to get 'healthy bacteria' in the body- and it tastes like regular sausage.

They say baby stools are a great source of probiotics that boost gut health - and sausages containing it could become a health food.

They took stool samples from the diapers of 43 babies, newborns to 6-month-olds, and found that the resulting sausage tasted similar to chorizo.

This is because many types of sausages are made with help from bacterial fermentation, and bacterial imbalance is associated with cancer, diabetes and inflammatory bowel disease.
