Budweiser and Major League Baseball legend Ozzie Smith are teaming up for a campaign to make baseball’s opening day a national holiday.

Budweiser is the official beer of Major League Baseball and Smith is a former St. Louis Cardinals' shortstop and a member of the Hall of Fame. They announced their petition on WhiteHouse.gov  and they are hoping for 100,000 signatures by March 31st to support their effort to get a national holiday for opening day.

Budweiser is also running digital ads supporting the petition
